The introduction scheme remains the same: first half a teaspoon, then a whole one, then 2 spoons, and until the new food "pushes" vegetables from breakfast. At this very time, the displaced vegetable puree is fed to the child in one of the afternoon meals, allowing him to "fill up" with breast / mixture.

In the case of using a special porridge for baby food, it is bred according to the instructions. If a mother prepares complementary foods from ordinary cereals, then you need to adhere to a special recipe. You will need to cook a 5% porridge - at the rate of 5 g of cereal per 100 water. The child is fed with such a thin porridge for about 7 days, until they are convinced of the absence of any negative reactions and bring it to the age volume. Then the dish is prepared thicker - at the rate of 10 g of cereal per 100 g of water, and again 5-7 days are taken for the child to get used to it. Only after two weeks can you start introducing a new cereal.

Important! You can not give the baby porridge from a bottle - only from a spoon. It is necessary that in the oral cavity it undergoes a preliminary enzymatic treatment with saliva, namely its components - amylase and lysozyme. These enzymes help the food break down into molecular-sized substances in the stomach.

Buckwheat

  1. You need 2 tbsp. buckwheat and 100 g of water.
  2. Garbage is removed from the cereal and washed several times.
  3. At this time, water is boiled in a kettle.
  4. When the water boils, measure 100 g and pour in buckwheat.

Both ingredients are very beneficial to health.

Usually, porridge with a viscous consistency is cooked in milk, so a little more liquid is needed to prepare them than for the rest. Each cereal has its own characteristics and individual cooking secrets, but there are general rules for everyone:

- Anything, except semolina and oatmeal, is washed before cooking;

- Grains are poured into a boiling liquid;

- Porridge with milk is salted a little more than porridge with water;

- In the process of cooking, milk is first salted, and only then cereals are poured;

- Some cereals are first cooked in water, and then cooked in milk;

Recipes for making different cereals in milk

Millet

To prepare semolina in milk you will need:

Oatmeal

To prepare porridge, oatmeal or oatmeal is taken. To begin with, they are boiled in hot water, then rubbed through a sieve to get rid of the husk and other hard parts. For cooking, take 2 parts of water and one part of flakes. Then the porridge wiped through a sieve is poured with milk, again in proportions of 2: 1, if you want a very thin porridge, you can take even more milk. Cook for about seven minutes and set aside. As you know, rice is very hard to boil in a milky environment, so first it is boiled in water. Before cooking, the rice is thoroughly washed with water several times to wash away dust and debris, then sent to boiling water and boiled for five minutes.
