The taste of tomatoes turns out to be a pronounced mountain ash, a little bit tart and absolutely not beaten. These wonderful tomatoes with mountain ash will be an excellent addition to a variety of main courses and an excellent snack with alcoholic drinks.
Wash the tomatoes and chop them near the stalks with a fork. Wash the rowan bunches thoroughly and put them together with the tomatoes in sterilized jars.
To prepare the marinade, heat the water to a boil. Add sugar, salt and vinegar. Boil and pour the cooked marinade into a jar of tomatoes. Cover and leave for 20 minutes. When the marinade is warm, pour it into a saucepan, heat it up to a boil again and pour it back into the jar of tomatoes. Soak for another 20-25 minutes and again pour the marinade into the pan.
