Master class "Figurine of the Tinker Bell fairy from mastic." Fairies from mastic, master class

Low calorie

A cake with fairies made of mastic will help make a girl's birthday the most beautiful and fabulous, because almost every girl believes in their existence and loves to watch cartoons with these little adorable characters.
In this master class, I will show you how to make a Tinker Bell fairy from mastic, as well as several other fairies.

Fairy Tinker Bell from mastic

I made the head of the Tinker Bell fairy using mastic. Attached it to the body with a toothpick. I break off the sharp ends of the toothpicks for safety.

The most important thing is not to forget to warn the children and their parents at the holiday that there are toothpicks inside the mastic fairies.

I decided to make the Tinker Bell fairy while sitting, so I put the legs on the edge of a suitable glass. I wrapped the glass in cellophane so that my feet would not stick to it.

The top of the Tinker Bell fairy dress is a strip thinly rolled out of mastic.

I made the bottom of the dress from separate leaves. Then she connected the top and bottom with a thin belt, which she evened with the top of the dress.

The hairstyle of the Tinker Bell fairy consists of cut pieces of mastic in the form of individual strands of hair stuck to the base. I make the base for the hair from a cut, thinly rolled circle, which I glued to the fairy's head - on the part where her hair should be.

I also made the wings of the Tinker Bell fairy from mastic. I used the shape for an aster - its petals just resemble the wings of a fairy.

We put on shoes with bells on the fairy, sculpt pens, paint the face (I described the design of the eyes below) and our fairy Tinker Bell is ready from mastic!
Fairy Rosetta from mastic

I also used it to sculpt Rosetta's head. Attached to the body with a toothpick. This time I made the body slightly elongated towards the bottom - like dolls, so that it would be easier to attach to the legs. I made both bent legs, as it was supposed to be in a sitting position on bent legs.

Then I connected the body to the legs and gave the figure a stable position.
I made the dress from two shades of pink mastic. The color transition was made by merging two colored stripes. I just put them one on top of the other, making notches, and fastened them with a rolling pin.

The top of the dress is also striped. Shaped with a suitable stack. You can use a toothpick. The skirt was made from individual petals. They can be cut into a suitable shape or rolled out "by eye". Slightly shaped with matching items.

Having glued it in a circle with small leaves, I made two shuttlecocks on the sides.

She blinded and glued the handles. She was supposed to pet someone. Later I decided that it would be a snail.

I made my hair from rolled mastic, one bottom of which I cut with a knife. Sticking to the head, twisted the ends.

The bangs were made from two strips, connecting them at the back of the head. I made a texture on the hair using a stack.

Blinded a snail. It is simpler than.

For stability, she planted the snail with the fairy Rosetta on mastic flowers.

We paint the face and admire.)))

Fairies from mastic

The other fairies were not Disney characters. I sculpted them, just fantasizing.
I made petals for a dress using silicone press - flower... She decorated her dress and shoes with small flowers.

This fairy decided to make a ponytail.

Before painting the eyes of the fairies, I made white eye sockets, leveling them with a stack with a ball on the base.

She painted her face with dry food colors diluted in lemon juice.

The next fairy was molded from the same parts as the previous one, only I placed the legs in a different position.

I decided to make the dress orange. The skirt is made using a flower cutout mold.

I decided to make it with golden curls. She rolled out a thin layer of yellow mastic, cut out small stripes and, twisting them with her fingers, glued them to the base. I started to glue the curls from the edge of the head, finishing in the middle.

The last fairy turned out in the form of a blooming dandelion.

The handles had to be propped up with a suitable object to dry out and keep their original shape.

I made my hairstyle from thin strips - I braided them into a braid and curled them up with a bump. I made a bang from triangles.

Decorated her hair with flowers.

At first I thought of planting a butterfly on her hand, but then I decided to leave it as it is.

I did not cover the cake with mastic. Flowers from mastic and fairies were placed on butter cream, making strokes on it that imitate grass.

As promised - MK on caramel wings for fairies.
1.Prepare a wire frame of the desired shape, be sure to leave a long tail of the wire, then you will understand why. Make it as flat as possible so that it fits completely against the table surface.
2. I used simple orbits lollipops. They melt unevenly. As soon as I saw that it was boiling in one place, and in another there was a whole caramel, I pulled it out and stirred it with a toothpick. This must be repeated until the bubbles begin to appear immediately on the entire surface of the caramel. It looks like this:

3. Here's what I used to make the wings:

4. When the caramel has boiled, quickly, until it is runny and begins to thicken, fill the frame from the center to the edges. If you didn't have time to fill the entire wing at once, remove the caramel and start over. It should look like this:

5. Then, when all the wings are finished, add dye to the remaining caramel and decorate the wings with a toothpick. The main thing is not to forget that the caramel must be heated to a boil, with thick caramel, little will come of it. I got the result like this:

6. When the wings are ready, take the tails and fold them several times. the wings are heavy. We stick the tails into the back of the fairy, the wings are trying to fall from the weight, we fix it on top with mastic and cover all the lewdness with hair. As a result, I got Bloom:

I hope everything is clear. I will warn you, before I got something decent, I translated 5 packs of candy and burned all my fingers. Good luck to you!

The master class “How to make a figurine of a Tinker Bell or a Tinker Bell fairy from mastic” will consist of two parts. In the first part I will show you in some detail how to make a fairy head. In the second part there is a figure and wings. I used this figurine in the cake.
Do not forget that the mastic must be given time to dry and retain its shape. But at the same time, when doing, for example, hair, the strands need to be cut right away, otherwise thin winding lines will not work, the mastic will crumble, you will have to remove the “hairstyle”, and you can damage the head blank. Let's start!

So, what we need to work:
1.Silicone mat
2.Glue
3.Multiple toothpicks
4.Sugar paste or flower paste
5. Brushes: for glue and fine for painting
6.Gel and powder food coloring
7.Mastic Tools (Pointed and Small Ball)
8 the rolling pin
9.Starch

1.Paint the mastic in beige, very light, simulate skin tone.

2.Head. We form a ball out of mastic. We make indentations for the eyes (a tool with a ball), squeeze out the outlines of the lips and nose (a sharpened tool at the end)

3.Hairstyle... We start with the most lush part. Glue a piece of mastic on the head and cut out the strands of hair with a sharp tool. This will be the bangs.

4.Ears. We glue small elongated rhombuses with a small depression.

5.Glue the side strands of hair. We draw them with a sharp tool.

6.Glue the ball on the top of the head. With a sharp tool, make a depression in the center and draw locks of hair. This will be a "bundle".

7. Around the beam we glue a thin strip of mastic - a ribbon.

8. Leave the head to dry.

9. Paint the face and hair with gel food dyes. Leave to dry thoroughly, but not in direct sunlight, otherwise the colors will fade.

If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments. I will try to answer everything in detail. 🙂

How to make a mastic fairy with gelatinous wings.

First, you should make the head of the fairy (I made it using a homemade mold). We draw a face.

We roll 2 balls of the same size, pressing one side to the table, make it flat, glue the "chest" and smooth out all the joints with a skewer so that the gluing points are not visible.

Next leg stage. I got a little thin, but for a fairy this is normal (she flies))). We shape the foot, press the fingers with a knife, glue the legs into the previously prepared places (holes), align everything with a skewer (its round sides). We plant the fairy, bending the legs at the knees.

Then we proceed to the hands. We roll the flagellum longer, cut it in half (so that the handles are of the same thickness), form the hands, elbow folds and glue it to the shoulders, thoroughly smooth all the joints.

Moving on to clothing. I made a white and blue mastic (it is not very visible in the photo, but the marble turned out beautiful), cut out details of an incomprehensible shape from it, wavy the edges with a toothpick (the mastic was rolled out very thin - so that the clothes did not fill my young lady - and the details were small, a skewer to create waves turned out to be great) and glued every detail to the future fairy.

Now the wings. We twist the frame from the wire according to the drawn pattern.

Soak the gelatin, when it swells, drain off the excess water. Heat gelatin in a microwave oven and stir until transparent, paint with dye. We are waiting for the right moment (when the gelatin begins to harden a little) and, lowering the wings into the gelatin, we try to make a film out of it.

I decorated the wings with glitter. Let the wings dry and attach them to the back of the fairy.

Next, we decorate the head of the fairy with a beautiful hairstyle - I do not recommend fixing the hair before, they very much interfere with work, dry out and break from the slightest touch, so it is better to leave the hair for last)))

From mastic with the addition of gelatin, I made a crescent in advance, dried it, fixed it on a cardboard tube. For a month, I sat down the fairy. Here is such a cake with the Moon Fairy I got (clouds - cotton candy).

Mastic cake will decorate any children's holiday. The filling of the cake is strawberry mousse with lemon sponge cake.

Ingredients for Mastic Cake:
Chicken egg (for biscuit) - 6 pieces
Flour (125g for biscuit, 1 tbsp. L for cream for mastic) - 140 g
Sugar (140g for biscuit, 250g for strawberry cream, 1 tbsp. L for cream for mastic) - 400 g
Salt - 1 pinch
Lemon zest - 2 tsp
Cream (33%) - 400 ml
Gelatin (instant) - 1.5 tbsp. l.
Strawberries (frozen) - 700 g
Water (for gelatin) - 70 ml
Milk ((cream for mastic)) - 100 ml
Butter - 60 g
Jam (for impregnation and 1 glass of water) - 3 tbsp. l.
Mastic (for decoration) - 350 g

Sponge cake (I made it 1 day before the holiday, then it is easier to cut and it becomes very fragrant - lemon).
1. Separate the whites from the yolks. Beat the whites with a pinch of salt on a low speed, then gradually increase the mixer speed and add some of the sugar. Whisk the whites until steep peaks.
2. Add the second part of sugar to the yolks and beat until thick white mass.
3. Combine whites with yolks from top to bottom.
4. Add sifted flour and stir in from top to bottom.
5. Add the grated lemon zest and gently stir it into the dough.
6. I covered the baking dish with oiled parchment and laid out the dough. Place the sponge cake in a preheated oven for 40 minutes at 180C.

Strawberry cream
1. Frozen strawberries were ground in a blender. Put the strawberries in a saucepan, add sugar and cook, stirring constantly over low heat until the sugar dissolves.
2. Pour boiling water into a bowl, add gelatin and stir until completely dissolved. If any lumps remain, strain.
3. Pour the gelatin into the strawberry mass and stir immediately.
4. Whisk in the cream and add the room temperature strawberry mixture, whisk with a mixer.

Cut the biscuit in two and soak it with diluted jam in water. Place the sponge cake in a separate baking dish, then pour over the cream and put the sponge cake back. Refrigerate the cake overnight.

Cream for mastic
Pour milk into a saucepan, add sugar, flour and cook over low heat while constantly stirring with a whisk so that the mass is homogeneous. When the cream thickens, remove from heat, add butter and stir until dissolved.

Brush the cake with chilled cream and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Decorations
I printed the fairy on the computer. She sprinkled the table and mastic with starch. She unrolled the mastic and applied the drawing to the mastic. I squeezed out a fairy along the contour with a sculpting tool, cut it out with a paper knife and trimmed the edges. I painted the fairy with liquid food coloring. She separated the fairy from the table with A4 sheet.
I made red, blue, yellow from white mastic: I added a couple of drops of dye to the white mastic and mixed it. Unrolled and cut flowers.

I rolled out a large circle of mastic on a silicone mat and put it on the cake. I did not cut the edges, I decided to leave it that way.
I smeared the flowers and the fairy with water and glued them to the cake.
