Ingredients

  • chicken legs - 2 pcs.
  • adjika - 1-2 tbsp. l.

Preparation

1. Rinse the chicken in cold water, blot with a paper towel, lightly salt and pepper.

2. Lubricate the meat on all sides with adjika - depending on the severity, you will need from 1 to 2 tablespoons of adjika. At this stage, it is advisable to let the chicken marinate for 1 hour so that it is saturated with the taste of adjika, but if time is limited and guests are already on the doorstep, you can do without marinating.

3. Put the chicken in a mold lined with food foil, sprinkle with vegetable oil on top.

4. We bake the chicken legs in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees, for 30 minutes, pouring the resulting juice from time to time (if a whole chicken is baked, the cooking time should be increased to 50 minutes). Sprinkle the browned meat with chopped parsley.

Today I have a double holiday, the first - as I said, we will cook homemade chicken, our own, and second - I was treated to homemade Caucasian adjika, which you cannot buy in our city. It was brought from the Caucasus and made with great love, in a home-style - Caucasian style. It's just a song! Therefore, today is a special day for me and there will be a special dinner prepared, spicy and peppery!

Would need:

  • Chicken - carcass - about 2.5 -3 kg.
  • Adjika - I have a real homemade one from the Caucasus - 2 tbsp. (I'll tell you right away - this is very sharp)
  • Mayonnaise - 3-4 tablespoons
  • Vegetable oil - for greasing the baking sheet.
  • Tomatoes - several pieces - for baking on a baking sheet with chicken.

How to cook baked chicken in the oven with delicious adjika:

I will make a reservation right away, you can not use mayonnaise at all in this recipe. But I added it so that our chicken would not be too spicy, because we are still not used to such spiciness. Then we put a little mayonnaise on the adjika (as I said, this can be omitted) and spread it evenly over the chicken carcass with a spoon.

Place whole ripe tomatoes around the chicken (optional).

Each tomato should be chopped with a fork or wooden skewer. We do this so that the tomatoes do not burst when frying. We preheat the oven to 180-200 degrees and send our beautiful chicken to bake for 50-60 minutes. This time should be quite enough for the meat to be soft, juicy and tender.

Look what a beautiful ruddy chicken I got. We take it out of the oven, cut it into portions and immediately put it on plates with the heat of the heat.
